Orlando, FL  (December 12, 2013) – Pirelli World Challenge driver Shea Holbrook was one of eight women recognized yesterday at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF), the leader in promoting sports, health and education for girls and women, announced and recognized the eight selected recipient racers yesterday at the show under the new “Women’s Sports Foundation’s Women in the Winners Circle Project Podium Grant,” designed to help young racers overcome the business challenges unique to motorsports.

“I’m incredibly honored and thrilled to be a part of the Women’s Sports Foundation’s Women in the Winners Circle Project Podium Grant. Having the opportunity to collaborate with two foundations that are making strides in the advancement of women in motorsports is truly amazing and humbling,” said Holbrook.

Holbrook graduated from the Lyn St. James, Women in the Winners Circle in 2008 and went on to race in the SCCA Pirelli World Challenge Championships while advancing her racecraft, brand and entrepreneurial aspirations. The 2013 season marked her first successful year launching Shea Racing into a multi-car effort.
