Shea Racing Heads to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

Shea Racing last saw success in Canada during the 2012 season where the team captured two podium finishes with driver Shea Holbrook. This weekend marks their return to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for rounds 2, 3 and 4 of the touring cars classes. 

After securing their first win and Best Standing Start Award of the 2014 season the team hopes to continue momentum from Barber Motorsports Park into the upcoming weekend.

Canadian driver, P.J. Groenke in the No. 66 Verax.ca/Tundra/Mulligan Gold Honda Fit races on home turf with supporters and 17-year-old Paul Holton in the No. 65 Radium/TRUECar/Lucas Oil Honda Fit competes in his second professional race weekend. This also marks Shea Holbrook’s third time at the high speed road course in her No. 67 TrueCar, Lucas Oil, Radium, Hendrick Honda Civic Si. 

Canadian Tire Motorsports Park is home of the 2.459-mile, 10-turn road course on which the TCA and TCB classes will compete. Qualifying will take place on Friday, May 16 at 2:00 PM EST. Round 2 will begin Friday, May 16 at 5:25 PM EST, round 3 on Saturday, May 17 at 10:35 AM EST and round 4 Sunday, May 18 at 10:30 AM EST. All races are 40-minutes and can be viewed live online at www.world-challengetv.com.
