Shea Racing Announces Jay Salinsky and #Race2IDLife to Driver Lineup
Orlando, Florida (February 24, 2015) – Shea Racing, Pirelli World Challenge multi-class touring car team announces Jay Salinsky to pilot the No. 66 IDLife Honda Fit in the Touring Car B-Spec category for a partial season starting at Circuit of the America’s March 6-8th. The 2015 season will be Salinsky’s first professional season along with support from IDLife, a company revolutionizing the health and wellness industry by providing individually designed nutritional programs developed specifically for you.
In efforts to connect the motorsport industry with IDLife and vice versa, Salinsky will be promoting the hashtag #Race2IDLife and website www.Race2IDLife.com.

Salinsky is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Salinksy is a licensed practitioner in the State of Florida and specializes in general orthopaedics, sports injuries, total joints and arthroscopy, with special training in shoulders at The Center for Bone and Joint Disease located in Tampa, Florida.
Salinsky comes from an eight year motorsport background competing in sanctioning bodies such as the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and Skip Barber. This will be his first professional season with the Pirelli World Challenge.
“I love helping people. If I wasn’t an orthopedic surgeon fixing bones I’d be a mechanic fixing cars. It’s actually very similar in a lot of ways. Partnering with IDLife makes this full circle for my professional and motorsport career. I’ve always wanted to race my whole life and after doing some high performance events with Chin Motorsports and then competing in some SCCA events I thought it was the right time to try racing professionally with Shea Racing and PWC. I look forward to what the season will bring,” said Salinsky.
