Shea Racing Scores Two Podiums at COTA for Season-Opener

podiumMarch 6-8, 2015 – Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car team, Shea Racing kicked off their season opener at Circuit of the Americas.

Shea Holbrook, driver of the No. 67 Lucas Oil, BUBBA Burgers, CoolShirt Systems, Hendrick Honda Civic Si took home two third place finishes and a Top Five in Sunday’s rain race. Holbrook currently sits third in championship points.

Tom Noble in the No. 48 BIR Performance Driving School Mini Cooper secured a Top Ten finish in Race 1 of the weekend. Race contact ultimately set him behind capturing an eleventh and fourteenth place to close out the weekend.

Jay Salinsky, driving the No. 66 IDLife (Race2IDLife.com) Honda Fit had a huge comeback drive earning a Top Five finish and VP Racing Fuels Hard Charger Award for gaining 16 positions. Salinsky also took home two eleventh place finishes resulting in contact.

Shea Racing has partnered with Honda Manufacturing of Alabama for the 2015 season. They earned an eleventh and two twelfth place finishes in the No. 93 Honda Accord.
