Holbrook to Start Testing and Licensing in Jet Dragster

Dec 18, 2014

December 17, 2014 (Orlando, FL) – Shea Holbrook sets out to become a qualified jet drag racer in the International Hot Rod Association. December 18-21, 2014, Holbrook begins her testing process and obtains her jet car license.

“Tomorrow starts a new chapter of my life.

The next 345,600 seconds I’ll be completely dedicated to becoming a jet drag racing driver. All thanks to 126 people who contributed to our crowdfunding campaign. I can proudly say, I’ll be racing for the fans in 2015.

I cannot express how grateful I truly am. Over the next four days I’ll update you with our progress. I’d like to thank the road racing community for being so supportive of this new venture of mine. I hope to share the track with you in 2015 as well.

Nothing makes me happier than race cars, being at the track, around the motorsport industry and learning the limits and taming a machine. This is an opportunity only a select group of people will achieve and to have the ability to share that experience with just a couple hundred people is inspiring and empowering.

If you’re reading this somehow you made an impression on my career and I thank you for that.

To my parents and my boyfriend for supporting, never giving up on the dream and living an adrenaline fueled lifestyle, thank you and love you guys.

Thank you all for dreaming, believing, supporting and helping us achieve this unbelievable reality.

See you at 280+ mph!”
