SHEA RACING HEADS TO LIME ROCK PARK FOR JULY 4TH WEEKEND
Lakeville, CT (July 1, 2013) – After scoring multiple top-five and top-ten finishes during the Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car and Touring Car B season opener at Circuit of the Americas, Shea Racing Team heads to Lime Rock Park July 4-6th this weekend with high expectations.

Shea Holbrook, driver and co-owner looks forward to the historic 1.5 mile course. “We had a very successful test there a few weeks ago and we’re really looking forward to carrying this momentum from into the race weekend. Lime Rock is a challenging track to learn and even harder to be fast and race it at the same time,” said Holbrook.
Driver of the No. 68 Titan Motorsports, loudbasstard.com, Honda Civic Si, Shea Racing driver Jon Miller has experienced success at Lime Rock Park when he scored two fourth place finished in 2008. P.J. Groenke behind the No. 66 Mulligan Gold, Tundra Technical Solutions, Verax.ca, Honda Fit and Shea Holbrook piloting her No. 67 Radium, TRUECar, Lucas Oil, Honda Fit will race the course for the first time.
The newly expanded three-car team currently holds fourth, seventh and eleventh in the Championship point standings respectively heading into the July 4th weekend.
Between races the Florida-based team moved shop to Synapse Motorsports in Scotia, New York for the remainder of the northeast races. “Hands down Synapse is the best shop in the northeast for what they specialize in (dyno tuning, engine and transmission building and fabrication) and the staff is very knowledgeable and generous for letting us relocate shop for a few races,” Jeff Holbrook, Team Principal said.

Events at Lime Rock Park get underway on Thurs., July 4 at 9:00 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. eastern for the first official test session, qualifying is set for 1:20 p.m. and Race 1&2 at 4:35 p.m. Race #3 will be Sat., July 6 at 9:00 a.m. eastern. Races on Thursday will be back-to-back 30-minute sprint races with a 20 minute stop in between. Saturday’s race will be a 45-minute race.
